16 May New criteria for assessing quality and reliability of ground roads
A quality transport infrastructure is a necessary condition for economic growth, and existence of high-capacity transport networks is a basis for effective mobility of persons and goods. The growing volume of road transport requires that new criteria for the assessment of quality and reliability of ground roads (roads, highways and town roads) be determined. The new approaches include the criteria for planning, projecting and the construction itself. The improvement of the traffic security and mitigation of road transport impacts on the environment is an important requirement.
